It was such a beautiful day!! The weather was just nice. Sunny & Windy… Perfecto! Went to Times Square again for more shopping.. hehe… Monique & Chung took us around Tsm Tsa Tsui.. Today, it’s all about FOOD!!! We went food frenzy instead of shopping. Check out the pictures, you will start to salivate! haha..
Times Square
Chung, Michelle & Monique
The famous biscuits called "Kai Tan Chai" If I'm not wrong, it's along Jordan Road?
There's no filling inside but something so simple yet so tasty
We took the train and got off at Mongkok Station. Took a pit stop at Ireland's Potato. Nothing to shout out for but for a quick bite it's okay...
Chung & Monique
They brought us to the local coffee shop that bakes their own bread. Reminds me of Babka on Brunswick St back in Melbourne. The scramble eggs is so gooood!! OMG..
Right after we head straight for the famous Pineapple Bun "Polo Bun". The word "Polo" in cantonese means pineapple (not what we normally call it "Wong Lai"). It's not literally pineapple bun because it's just a plain bun with a slice of butter. I'm taking a wild guess.. I think the crust on the bun has the pineapple design on it.
I'm so gonna put on weight with the rate that we are eating..
Straight right out from the oven
Ugh... Stuffed!! but.. this is something you have to try. Tau Foo Fah with brown caster sugar. Simply irresistible!
H&M!!! Why don't they have an outlet in M'sia? It was packed!! I didn't manage to get anything, Michelle bought a skirt.. After walking around for several hours, we took a bus to meet Aunty Alice for dinner.
Mini bus
Yuet Wah Wui Restaurant
According to Aunty Alice, this restaurant started off in a shack under a flyover and it's been around for more than 15 years. They are famous for seafood.
We ordered, Fried Japanese Tau Fu, Clams with Chinese Wine. Specialty Crabs, Bamboo Shoots aka "Chuk Soon" it's a kind of seafood, Pepper and Salt Grilled Crayfish and Vege.
Nicely quoted " Revive Economy Buy Clothes" I burst out laughing!! good one good one.. keke.
DEFINITELY A MUST GO even though you don't fancy dessert.
Honeydew Sago : So So
Mango Sago : Must try..damn good!
Durian in sticky rice roll : 2 thumbs up!!
We went to Ladies Street aka "Lui Yan Kai" to look around. Guess What? It's 10.30pm and the street is packed with ppl. Yeah... this is HK!!
Sesame Street!!! What's your favourite character? Mine is elmo and cookie monster!!
That's for today...
